Thats a ton of food! Hearty, Columbian fare Eat tongue? You go first To preface this next statement, it's something that really can't be helped, just a fact. This place is certainly not for everyone. Mainly it's not for you if you can't order in Spanish. Or read Spanish. The food is decent, (and huge portions,) but bring a friend who can explain the intricacies of the menu. It's Columbian, so if you're not into deep fried plantains, pork skins and a fried egg on everything, perhaps you should try something less authentic. If you are, check it out. Their menu is fairly diverse, with lots of rice, beef and pork combinations, as well as some oddities like various preparations of liver and tongue. Not my scene but if it's yours, I'm sure they fry up a good tongue. The portions are huge and the prices are on the upper edge of reasonable; check out the 'Typical Platter' (bandeja tipica) in the pictures. That pile of food was a grand total of $10. I had the seafood paella and a Kola for a total of $12. Really, I gave El Antojo 2 stars for a combination of small reasons. Long wait for food, suspect cleanliness, and a cash-only payment system. Points deducted for cash only and the slow-ish service.

Always had a great meal here, yes there a wait but I don't mind at all since I know my food is fresh and done to order ! If I don't have time to wait I just call ahead! La bandeja is the best in town !

I love love love love this place. Amazing arepas and rice and beans. You get a lot for your money and the service is always great. Growing up in Central Fall this was always the spot after school and. Always go back when.i'm in town.

The food is delicious! The arepa is nice and crispy with good cheese. The chicharron is also crispy and one of the best I've had. The bunuellos are my new favorite than any other place. I wish I could give a 5 star but it takes forever to get your food!!! The waitress was rude and unpleasant, we did not appreciate her attitude. And when we asked for food to go it took over an hour. That's just ridiculous. But, overall, if you have time to spare it's pretty good to sit and relax with your family over great authentic food.

I dont have plans to go there anytime soon. Somebody needs to tell the waitress with the mole in her eye to get a new attitude

Yes, it's authentic. But who gives a shit if you have to wait an hour to eat a measly arepa? The food is characteristically hearty and artery-clogging. The prices are awesome. The service is absolutely abysmal. It's not like being Colombian or speaking fluent Spanish or being a patron over the course of a dozen years changes any of that. If you go, be prepared to wait. All the silicone scenery that comes through still won't make it feel any less of an eternity.
